Rebecca Smith
Welcome to Moor Tutoring - My name is Rebecca Smith and I am a qualified teacher (with an Enhanced DBS certficate and up to date safeguarding training), SENCO and I have previously been a Head Teacher. I have 28 years of experience in Primary Education and have also led and managed a successful school nursery.
I started teaching in 1997 and have taught in all age groups from 2 to 11.
I have been a Deputy Head for 9 1/2 years in two very different schools.
I have been Head Teacher for 11 years in a rural, village location with two successful Ofsteds during my time there.
For the past five years I have been a Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Leader (SENCO) alongside my Headship role.
I have also been a Safeguarding Officer and the Designated Teacher for Children in Care for many years.
